New School Approved in North East Oakville

Building opportunity for the students of Oakville North-Burlington

Oakville – Today MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos announced that the Hon. Lisa Thompson, Minister of Education, has approved a new elementary school for the community of Oakville. The Ministry has worked closely with the Halton District School Board to ensure that this project delivers a safe and supportive learning environment for the students of north east Oakville.

Once completed, the school will create space for 776 pupils in Oakville, in addition to 88 child care spaces. The new $20.7M elementary school will be located at Sixth Line and Dundas Street.
