We know that more staff means more care for residents and it’s why we are offering PSWs up to $6,000 a year and eligible Registered Practical Nurses up to $10,000 a year in financial support. This news means another 2,000 nurses will join long-term care by 2025, offering quality, compassionate care to residents. By wearing a poppy, Ontarians remember the bravery and valour of Canadian Armed Forces veterans and active members who fought to preserve peace around the world, protect Canada and defend its freedom and way of life. ![]() The Ontario government is introducing legislation that, if passed, would better protect, support, and attract workers to the province. These proposed new measures would promote healthy work-life balance and will further enable competitiveness by banning unfair non-compete agreements that are used to restrict work opportunities, suppress salary increases and wage growth. ![]() Halton Women’s Place online chat service is designed to help keep you safe.
