Oakville North-Burlington Newsletter June 20, 2025

“Our government continues to stand up for Ontario’s workers and businesses on the global stage. This week, Premier Doug Ford travelled to Boston to meet with U.S. governors and Canadian premiers, working together to address the harmful tariffs impacting trade between Canada and the United States.
The Premier’s visit focused on building strong cross-border partnerships and advocating for fair and open trade — priorities that matter deeply to our businesses here in Oakville North–Burlington and across Ontario. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration between Canadian provinces and U.S. states to protect local jobs, grow our economy, and ensure that Ontario’s world-class goods and services can continue to reach key international markets.
As your Member of Provincial Parliament, I will continue supporting our government’s efforts to create the right conditions for people and businesses to thrive.”– MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos
