“Ontario is investing an additional $6 million in Futurpreneur program to help 1,000+ young entrepreneurs (ages 18–39) launch and grow their businesses, supporting the creation of more than 3,800 future jobs across the province. This investment is part of our government’s plan to protect Ontario’s jobs and economy by expanding access to financing, mentorship, networking opportunities, and business planning resources. Since 2021, Ontario has invested $15 million in Futurpreneur, which offers collateral-free financing of up to $75,000 and has already helped create more than 1,700 businesses and 7,300 jobs in Ontario. The province is also supporting small businesses through $1.1 billion in annual tax relief, a $9.4 million investment in entrepreneurship programs, and an additional $5 million to expand the Digital Competence Centre, ensuring Ontario businesses remain competitive and continue creating jobs in communities across the province”.
