“To support housing growth and reduce development barriers, the Ontario government awarded the Town of Oakville $13.2 million through the Building Faster Fund, recognizing its progress in meeting provincial housing targets.
This investment will support key infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, and road improvements and help streamline the building of new homes and complete communities across Oakville.
By rewarding municipalities that meet or exceed housing goals, the Building Faster Fund is helping deliver more housing options and supporting Ontario’s plan to build 1.5 million homes by 2031.
This funding ensures Oakville has the infrastructure it needs to grow responsibly and meet the needs of future residents.” MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos
